Daytona 955iThe Daytona 955i has proved, over the years and miles, that balance is everything. With large amounts of horsepower comes the need for finesse.
Has anyone done a quick throttle mod on a 955i? I've been doing some reading on a few other Triumph boards and I've seen a couple ideas that look good (various 1/4 turn mods and a unique 3/8 mod)...but I'm curious if anyone has first hand experience.

I had read the same things and was going to do it to my old T 595, but never got around to it.
I never had much issue with the stock setup. Getting the slack right was key for me.

+1 to that one. It took me a while to get it right. It's PERFECT now, though. Before it was too tight and i'd accidently be giving it throttle if my glove bunched up at all when i was stopping.
I've never really been a fan of the throttle response on the Daytona's (probably my only real complaint)...but it's been something I've just lived with. With some track days coming up, I was thinking if I could shorten the throttle movement I'd give myself a better hole shot...
Maybe I'll mess with the slack this weekend a little...haven't done that yet.

$30??? For a single cable system you can make the exact same thing for the price of a 3/4" PVC coupling - about 30 cents. Did mine and now I have a 90 deg throttle.
