Cool new to the forum. planning on a daytona 675 soon

hey, im new to the forum. ive been browsing bikes for some time now. after i stumbled across and saw a daytona 675 by my house i fell in love. ive been dying for a 04-05 r6, but now im convinced on the 675.

i started off racing motocross when i was twelve and still do it. ive rode a couple sport bikes, beater 94 yamaha 600 and my buddys 02 cbr600. i felt pretty comfortable on those bikes so im pretty convident i can hang on. ive done some riding on the roads with one of my road/OHV bike and feel pretty comfortable out there with all those cages around.

im new to this forum but not the the forum aspect. ive been a member on plenty of boards with the car i drive, Twin Turbo 300zx.

joining here i plan to find plenty more forums. tons of info on the 675, what to look for when buying, mods, etc...

shitty first street bike. I own one and it's the project bike for the website.

People crash the shit out of them, especially first time street bike owners. Dirt bike riding has nothing to do with street bikes and your experience on street is limited. .

Take an MSF course and start out on something smaller. Learn how to really ride street first. Spend a few seasons on a smaller bike. Otherwise, you'll be wasting that 675 and will be highly likely to crash it.
