Default Took the plunge!

What an amazing bike. I live in coastal NC, found an incredible deal on a 2006 in Miami, flew down, drove it back. Other bike experiences are FZ6, Ducati ST3, BMW K1200LT,

so......... I thought the ergo's would kill me. Hell, it's a track bike! So pinch with your knees and ride the thing! I just think of the seat as sitting in the stands at a sports event, if your butt gets sore........move, wiggle, readjust. Wrists weren't that bad, I was on I-95 and the 80-100mph wind force kept me off those, sucks at town speed though. Worse part was the wind blast that I wasn't used to. 140-160mph wants to rip my fat ass off the seat!
Aero screen is on it's way.
So with baited breath, I wrote the check, put on my gear, checked the oil and off I went!

Stopped in Daytona for a picture of my Daytona in front of.........well you get it....

Then it was weekend before last, you know, the one with the Tornadoes! I was pushing it trying to beat them, didn't. Stopped just south of Charleston, SC, got a room and decided I would challenge her virtue and sleep with her the on the first date! Oh, it was good for her too! As you can see, we used ........protection.

I waited out the front, lost power like five times? Checked things out and off I went.
I slide back to readjust and rest the rear and notice I can't feel the rear cowling? feel back with my hand and find a HOLE!!!??? WTF!!!
I guess the allen bolt loosened up and off she went? Makes me wonder what little old lady had to dodge a 100mph yellow padded projectile?

I back tracked 10 miles to no avail. Oh, well......more mods to buy......again?
Somehow, days like this one here, well.........

Life is good, she even looks fast sitting still!

Great to be part of the group!

Welcome to the Triumph club!!!

And yeah- i've heard of people losing seat cowls before. (on other bikes, not the 675). On my bike it is kinda hard to get on there, so i'm always paranoid that i didn't latch it all the way.

Oh well.... time to check ebay! At least they only come in 4 colors, and yellow and red make up 70% of them, so there's a good chance you can get one used....
