Warm enough 2 Ride! (pics)
First real ride I have had on this bike was today. 55 degrees ftw!
Bike is amazing btw... I am attempting to break it in semi-consistent with manual, so haven't taken it above 8k yet. Sounds amazing, don't know why you would change exhaust!

When I bought my bike I couldn't imagine for the life of me why anyone would do anything in regards to increasing performance. Then I got comfortable on it. Now I've done a few things that have made it feel sick fast (as if it wasn't before)....and one of those things was a pipe. I'm sooo glad I put a pipe on it. It sounds so much better.
BTW, what constitutes "warm enough to ride"? For me it's about 40 degrees.

L1QU1D, you're the squid who buzzed my crib yesterday. I'm sure of it. I didn't see it but I heard it coming up the street.
That effort barely rates one out of five, by the way.

It was 50 degrees. Thats about my limit with no cold weather gear.
We will see about mods later, if I ever get bored with its power, which i doubt.
TravelinJones: i am not as inclined to hit 100 mph on a 35mph road like I used to be. When it is broken in you will hear me from the freeway entrance ramp... trying to keep it under 8-9k rpm for a few more hundred miles.
also... FIX YOUR DAMN BIKES!!

Exciting Bike!
I'm getting ready to either do a track whore R6 or climb aboard one of these sexy beasts to make 4 in my stable. Thinking about the burnt yellow. How is the torque, how bad is the riding position on your wrists/shoulders?
Now get those reflectors off and shave those blinkers to be all stealthy and black!
I see some sweet fend. elim.'s for the tail posted up elsewhere. How loud is it when wound up?

L1QU1D30, if you don't mind me asking...
How tall are you? Just trying to get a feel for how big the 675 is - it looks really tiny in your pics.
I'm also curious about the riding position and how it affects wrists and arms. I currently ride a Suzuki DL650 V-Strom which has a very high bar putting very little weight on the wrists. Really love the look of the Daytona!

Epee: Torque is nice, plenty of roll on power in 6th gear at 65mph. This thing pulls like a mule at low rpm and doesn't stop.
It sounds amazing when its WOT, even at low RPM's it just sounds really beefy. Stock is not overly loud at all, and sounds great. I was out the other night with a bunch of guys on Jap bikes (of course) and I couldn't even hear my exhaust. I was the only one with stock exhaust. Get a Jardine if ya want more noise.
Patpuma: I am 6'1". The bike is approximately same height as all the other Jap 600 Inline 4's, although it is a lot thinner.
About the wrist: First day my left wrist hurt after pretty bad about 1 hour. This is mostly due to the fact that I was riding around in Rush hour traffic, with tons of stop lights and I leave bike in 1st gear with clutch in at lights, and my clutch muscle (lol) was weak. Since that initial break in day, my arms/wrist have felt great, no knee or back pain what so ever. I am honestly amazed at how comfortable I am on this thing. I did 2 hours non-stop last night and only came in cause I had to be somewhere else.

This is an amazing bike, but you must improve his performance, so think about a TBr exaust, powercommander or tuneboy, a filter from T3_Racing and better rearsets and levers, like Gilles and Pazzo. Those stuffs make you bike seems to be a rocket and don't cost too much.
