Default Simple Mod

Last night, I decided I wanted to mod the front blinkers on my '04 Daytona. It took a good minute to take the housing off the fairing, but once I did, I took the amber cover off, popped out the reflector and pulled the housing away from the wires. I cut the brass tips off the wires and exposed the wire. Then I took a Dremel and sawed off the stem of the housing to the last notch and filed it down smooth. Then I put the amber LED's I bought from RadioShack in the hole and spliced them to the wires. I reset the housing back to the fairing. I'm not really happy with it because:
a) the blinker goes to fast as if there were no bulb
b) the LED's aren't bright enough.

other than that, when not in use, it looks pretty decent. I wouldn't suggest doing this if you want some cheap flush-mount blinkers though. Go pro and buy the Greggs for $130, give or take. I'll post pics sometime...

Have any of you other D6 owners done anything to your bike?
