Default Looking at getting one

Hiya, well i have been a die hard Suzuki fan and own a 94 GSXR 750 for almost 9 years now, its been a good bike and still runs good but I saw one of the 650s' and read some reviews on it, which all praise the heck out of the bike. I am just curious, will I be diappointed with getting one, does it still have enough power to put a smile on your face or is it something I wound't want to take to on track days? Just getting some input, one of the dealers down here has a 2005 yellow Daytona 650 and the bike just looks awesome plus the price is very attractive. Thanks in advance.

Compared to your 94 it would have a little bit more considering the D650 weighs alot less and handling and brakes would be night and day go for it or wait till next year and get the Daytona 680RR triple I plan on trading off my D6 for it.
