I was dating an ex about a year and ahalf ago. Long story short, we went our separate ways. She has been dating this guy for about a year. She recently gets in contact with me (via the myspace thing). We do the typical shit, whats new, how ya been, blah blah. She tells me she wants to meet in person, as she misses me. Whatever, I'm single and got nothing better to do. I meet up with her, and she starts to tell me about the guy shes with. He's cheated on her 3 times, he abuses alcohol and throws shit around the house from time to time, blah blah. So of course, my initial reaction was get the fawk out of that house. On top of all this, she lets it go that she still has strong feelings for me. As soon as I told her I wanted nothing to do with dating her (But said in a nicer way...heh) she flipped her cards saying that she just likes me as a friend (Which I'm about 99.9% sure she said that since I didn't wanna get back with her)
She pulls the sterotypical jerry springer shit, saying that he doesn't do it all the time and she loves him. Should I bother to try to help her anymore? She's a pretty girl, but you can obviously tell they have zero money and her overall general health drooping - clothing, doesn't bother with makeup, lack of self confidence, etc. I laughed like hell when I heard thru the grapevine that they are engaged....but he didn't buy her an engagement ring?!?! It kinda hurts me to see a friend like that taking roads than later on in life are going to leave her with 10 kids, living in a trailer, sucking the tit of the welfare system. Not that exactly, but you know what I mean.
Should I give a shit, or just let her live her life? In a way I want to help a friend, and in the other way, I just don't want to get involved.

She needs a head shake. When you give the 'right' advice, she will think it's wrong. Unless she asks, I'd avoid her at all costs, but remember, when you give that advice just walk away and don't get any further involved. It's not worth your time or sanity.
Guard your heart. You still have feelings for her and that's not gonna do you ANY GOOD!
Normally I'd advise you to stay around and play it for a little PIITB action. But I can tell from your post that you care and that's not good for you.

I'm not sure of the acronyms on this forum, but if it's anything like Pirate4x4, I'm just gonna assume it means Put It In The Butt. lol But yeah, I'm not going near her. I hadn't planned on it...but I just didn't know if that would be an asshole move on my part to just completely forget about her, hence the reason for posting.
This ones a no-brainer. Do not have any contact with her. All she will bring into your life is drama, and possibly stress. If she wants advice, tell here there are professionals for that, and your time isn't free. Actually, just phone-block her.
