I personally have always been able to strike up a conversation with anyone. I just try more readily to talk to the hot girls. lol. But my philosophy has always been "whats the worst that can happen?" You could always try grocery stores. Hot chicks still have to eat. Here's an example

I agree, you are to hung on hooking up with each hot chick you talk to. The fact is that it isn't gonna happen. Once you decide that you will look at them different and not act like an ass b/c she don't want you anyway and nothing is lost.
