problems on the horizon
alright i have two big problems coming up. First is not so bad just gotta see how it works out. Short version on that one met a girl 3 years ago before i started riding, she got into a relationship but still wanted to stay friends during that time, she recently got out of the relationship and wants time to "clear her head" before she decides if she wants to take things farther for me. not to sure what to do there. Now for the big problem, this girl that im talking about has no clue that i ride a motorcycle, and she says she dislikes anyone that does. But the new attitude thats developed from riding has left her really wanting me more and more. I first dont want to push her away but dont want to quit riding either. How do i tell her in a way that kinda makes sense that i ride a motorcycle.
She will find out about the bike, so you might as well tell her. Next, don't rush into things right after a break up. Even normal girls can be psycho after a relationship ends.

Yeah don't tell her anything until she has decided she wants a relationship with you. If she decides she wants to be with you, then the bike thing might not be such a big deal. But if you tell her now then she'll use that while figuring out if she wants to be with you, which could be bad. Think of it this way:
If you've got your mouth set on a tasty cheeseburger with pickles and it's what you've wanted all day, then you get there and they have NO pickles. You gonna turn it down? Probably not. But if in the morning you KNEW they weren't gonna have any pickles, you might have decided on something else during the course of your day.
That was actually a really fuckin funny analogy hahahahahaha

As for the doing anything now thing the only thing i had planned was to tell her that i no longer have my cell phone so i was going to give her my house phone then i would let her get things sorted out. Probibly going to take a while from what she said is going on. She was living with him working in that town and my town and right now she is living with her parents and working in my town. So i got a couple sleepless nights logged onto here to look forward to. any more advice is greatly appreciated
Take her for a ride. Be good about it and let her see for herself. If she llikes it you are in. If she doesn't then she wasn't good enough anyway . . .

Huh??? How wierd! I've never had to tell I ride a motorcycle. I just show up with my riding jacket and my helmet on one hand...
If she likes it, fine, if she doesn't like it, also fine, not a dealbreaker. If she can't stand me riding, that is a dealbreaker, and I'll show her the door.
Dude, be yourself. Sooner or later she will know... So just show up in front of her house, park the bike just in front of the door and talk to her. IMHO, if she can't stand it, she is not a keeper, a keeper is not the kind of gal that will make you quit something you love.

Well, you know? I love riding, and riding is somethign I've always done by myself. It is something that is mine, and that I might not want her to share to a full extent.
Though, riding with your SO might be really good, but I also need the option not to ride always with her, so it has its upsides/downsides.

How did I missed this post, it is hilarious!
Pussy or cheeseburger...
I'm starving (I'm on diet), I'd go for the cheeseburger right now.

One of the great things about growing up is having a prejudice, preconception, (whatever the word is...) put in your face and finding out you were all wrong about it.
No need to tell her just now but when you do, make sure it involves a ride right after she finds out. A real easy one in low traffic, easy road conditions and good temperature.
She might find out she really digs holding on to you! Tight! (She needs to be reprogrammed that's all)
Unless you find out along the way that there is a good reason for her not liking bikes, like her brother died on one or sumthing...
