Ok long story short. I work with this cute girl and some of us at work hung out last Thursday. WE are all drinking and the girl is cracking on me HARD, I mean like HARD. Normally, I don't think anything of it, but for some reason I think she has a slight thing for me. I keep telling myself "no no no, she can't b/c we work together." WELL..later on that same night we are both at a friends house, then we all pass out in seperate roooms. Well in like 5 mins. I get a phone call from her asking "Cris, can you please come lay down with me?" So I go in the room and we cuddle and pass out. Since then, I have had a slight feeling in my gut that leans more towards a crush.
I know I should NOT have any kind of feelings for someone I work with, but damn I can't help it. Also at work we are kind of flirty in our e-mails and share personal shit want what not.
WELL tonight....she texts me "hey whats up ho?", so we go back and forth a bit spitting game talking about cuddle buddies and what not. So she finally is like "Cris..be honest with me...." So after a few more beers I just come out and text back "OK fine, you're hot, and I have a small crush on you." She responds "I find it sexy when guys tell me how they feel...talk to you later b/c im going out now?"
WTF DID I DO!?!?!? I broke the ONE rule I swore to myself to never break...Flame suit is on..so go ahead.

ummm.... you didnt actually do anything... so you're still good. Just say that you're in love with someone else or something the next time you talk. Talk about how great this other girl is. Say she's your soulmate or something, and you need to find out if it can work before persuing anything else.
There's lots of ways out of this. You're golden.
Plus- getting involved with coworkers isnt the worst thing in the world. As long as you're not an asshole, you should be able to pull it off if you want to.

How did she know? what, are you kidding me? Women always know. They're evil like that. If you really don't want to get involved, though- just mention something about love. Any girl is a sucker for that. Or just come out and tell her the truth (dont know if this would work... dont think i've ever tried it)- that you don't want to date a co-worker

Right on the money....you could still pull this off but your in a corner now. Definitely mention another girl and whatnot...doesnt matter if she doesnt exist just make up some shit...Im sure others will chime in with more specific advice.

Ok, now that I am a bit more sober, let me give some background info. We e-mial each other pretty much all day everyday at work, and we have both shared how we approach and deal with the opposite sex. I know she likes to be chased after, and I only go after women who I know are interested. Among other personal things. She also smokes, has a kid, and is "going" thru a divorce.
here are some texts she sent me..."This might sound bad..but I knew that!..so where's the guy?" She KNEW I had a damn crush, and I guess is talking shit now to get more out of me. more.."I like you being forward! don't be shy..cause I know thats your thing." "WOW! you're being pretty demanding..a sexy trait I like in you! use it more often..VERY sexy!"
I know I could easily play this off, but I'm more mad at myself for telling her how I felt.. I NEVER EVER do that unless it is someone I have been dating for a while. I shouldn't like her at all b/c she smokes, and I have strong feelings againnst that. Part of me wants to be like "Loook bitch...NO games..either your in or you're not."
ALSO..she knows about the other girl I was interested in (see my thread about the Herpes girl). I WAS originially going to call her tonight and see if she wanted to hang out b/c she didn't have plans for New Years. I don't know now if that is such a good idea.
I did talk to my ex-gf of 2 years last night and she helped me out a bit, and was basically saying "she is NOT your type...."

Thank your for the compliment! I am trying to figure out now how to pick my balls back up and re-hang them. I think I need ideas on how to umm fix this now. SHe did send a message when she got home asking if I was awake, but I didn't respond. I could just be like "umm yeah since we are about being honest and up front...crush = sex"
