Default Largest rear tire size

What is the largest rear tire size I can put on my 02 954 with stock wheels and swing arm? It came with a 190 on it but I dropped it down to a 180 to experiment with cornering and was wondering if I could take it up to a 200 or above.

As you can see in the pic, there's not that much difference between a 200 and 190.That's a 200 on my VTX.

You need to keep in mind that a larger tire does require a larger wheel and it will make a difference in the way it handles if you put it on the stock wheel.

a low profile 200 will fit. It does on mine. And it looks sick, but you loose a lot of handling. It has to be low profile, or it will scrape. Just get a 190 race tire, like the Michilin s2's or something. handles like a damned dream!! HEHE, i'll sell you my 200!! I want my 190 back!

But seriously, the larger tire, the less responsive it get's in the turns, then again, if you just want to go straight (like for drag racing) go with a dunlop d208. they are low profile, which looks sweet, and it's a fatty of a rear tire.

why do you need a 200? It will NOT make it handle anybetter ,..Actually it will pro make it handle worse.....
