Default Your Opinion? 954 vs F4i

I currently have a CBR600F4i. I might be able to get a 954 for a good price, and I would like your opinions about the 954-- especially interested in hearing from anyone who has ridden both. Thanks.

I just sold my 2002 954 and still have a 2004 F4i. What exactly do you do with the bike? What are you planning on doing with it? Are you wanting it for stunting? For racing? Long rides? Gas mileage? Short bursts through the twisties?

The 954 is substantially more powerful, but I think the F4i is more comfortable and has ample power.

IMHO, the 954 is all around a better bike, but it will get you in a lot more trouble REAL FAST if you're not careful.

I want it all, except I'm not really into stunting. I'm thinking of getting a 954, keeping the F4i, and dedicating one or the other for track days.

I'd have to agree with you. I have a 03 954 and my buddy has a 01 f4i. Mine defintally has a lot more power but his does fell more comfortable. Actually his feels kind of slow after riding my bike to tell u the truth.

I ride a 02 F4i and a 02 954, I have raised the clip-ons on the 954, and now this bike is way more comfortable than the F4i.

I like to ride both bikes, but I prefer to ride the 954 just a bit more, less shifting & more power.
