Default 954/929 exhaust

Are the CBR 954 and 929 exhaust fully interchangeable? I want to get a half system to eliminate the exhaust valve, But only find them listed for the 929. I want to keep my stock header due to oil change ease, and most dyno charts show better low end power with the stock headers and no power valve. some insight from those that have been this route would be greatly appreciated.

I know the bolt-on cans are interchangeable. Not sure about the full system. Check on www.fireblades.org. They know everything about these bikes.

There are full systems that don't block removal of the oil filter, but if you want to keep the stock headers, a 3/4 system is a waist of money. Get a slip on and one of THESE eliminators. It takes the place of the exhaust valve with just straight pipe.

half systems should all be the same, but i bought a slipon for a 929rr once and it didn't fit my 954rr because the inside diameter hole were different sizes
