I do whenever I get the urge but I suck at them. Usually 1st or 2nd gear --> redline then I'm done.

For first gear, sit downs all i gotta do is roll on the throttle then crack it anywhere in the powerband (even at 3500rmp) to get the pop just right then roll on and off to keep the front end skyward untill redline. Second gear if i stand up and dump or slip the clutch just right (around 5k - 8k rmp) i can usually pop it up and hold it for only a few seconds, but i can't hold it for long at all. I'm pretty sure my problem is the terrible .map i have on my pc3. Once i construct my custom map i've been working on for a couple of weeks or get a real good one off the internet maybe i'll have better luck with the high speed wheelies. Any one have any tips for popin stand ups out of 1st gear (2nd, 3rd even 4th)?? Maybe high speed wheelies are more possible than i thought even with this crappy .map. Take it easy.

i got some tips for ya. if you feel comfortable clutching 2nd gear stand ups, great. i learned powering them up, but whatever floats your boat. if you want to power them up, stay steady on the gas up to like 65mph, roll off slightly and then wack it. it takes some practice to get the timing right. to clutch them up, get going 50mph or so and slip that clutch while rolling on the throttle. do this all standing of course. its really just practice as long as you know what to do, you just gotta practice doing it. i bounce up my regular 2nd gear stand ups, and i can ride them 1 1/4-1 1/2 miles. i clutch up stagger stepped(right foot on the front peg, left foot on rear peg) 2nd gear stand ups. i clutch up 2nd gear when im standing on the seat. i clutch up first gear sit downs. i clutch up 1st gear stand ups. i clutch up 1st gear tank wheelies. so basically, learn to use that clutch

PS. COVER THE REAR BRAKE with your right foot. if you bring it too high, tap that brake and the front end will come right back down to earth(hard).

Thanx a lot snigg, i'll be tryin those tips out tonight. I can get the front wheel up for a few seconds if i just dump the clutch. I've tryed the slipping clutch technique but the only result i ever get is the engine revving way up, the smell of roasting clutch plates and then a jerk forward without any sign of the forks coming close to even fully extending, much less the wheel leaving the ground. Those tips sound real good though so i'll be trying them out. Thanx again man, later.

its all practice. you can bounce it a little while clutching 2nd and it should shoot right up. ill stagger step(left foot on passenger peg, right foot covering rear brake) and clutch em right up. comes up very fast and smooth.

Default I can do 3rd gear wheelie...

Hey everyone, this is my first replay on this forum, didn't know it exists...
Anyway, I bought my 954RR about a month ago and I already managed a 3rd gear wheelies with or without using the clutch. So here is how :
Without clutch, hit the throttle at about 120kmh (about 75mph) and pull the bike up, you should be standing during the whole time, my weight is around 75kg so if you are havier than me you may try to do this while sitting.
With clutch, at about 120kmh (again...) push the clutch lever and spin the throttle then release the clutch lever and pull the bike up, again, because Im not "that fat " I also need to hit the back of the rider seat with my "butt " and the bike will stand !!!!
Now, in both ways you'll need to have a good feeling on the throttle, because you will have to spin the throttle almost to it end to be able to make the bike stand, it should be on full throttle for a few second BUT make sure you know what you're doing because it is pretty easy to flip the bike, so remain in full throttle 'till the bike is in a nice angle and then "play" with the throttle to keep it on one wheel...
Please tell me if I helped anyone or ask me whatever you want to my e-mail.
---RiDe FaSt--- and KEEP IT SAFE !!!!!
