here are a few pix of my year 2001 honda CBR-929rr (erion race edition). as you can see from the pix below i have installed a trac-dynamics swingarm. as it sits right now i have got it set at + 4 inches over stock. i can get another inch out of it if want. i lowered the bike 1.5 inches in the rear via a adjustable dog bone lowering link that i got from schnitz racing. i lowered the front .75 inches by raising the forks in the triple trees. i can lower the front another .75 inch with a strap for when i go to the dragstrip. i didn't want to get all crazy with lowering the bike or extending the swingarm too much because i still like to rail the twisties. so therefore i comprimised my drag race setup in order to still maintain speed in the corners for those times when i am not at the dragstrip. believe it or not i would say that this bike still maintains about 90% of its cornering prowess. the last chassis mod i did was install a hyperpro steering dampner.
as far the engine mods go i installed JE forged pistons which raised the compression ratio from the stock 11.3:1 to 12.5:1. since i use nitrous i switched from the stock iridium spark plugs to the old style non-iridium CBR-900 plugs that have the thicker electrode. i run the bike on 100 octane race gas on the street now and when i go to the track and spray nitrous i use 110 octane race gas. i installed a erion race slip on muffler for the street and when i go to the dragstrip i take it off and run the stock cone inside. the nitrous kit i use is a NOS dry kit. i can spray anywhere from a 25 hp - 40 hp shot of nitrous depending on which jet i use. i keep everything dialed in with a power commander 3r. i am also using a barnett kevlar clutch, AFAM sprockets and a EK-ZVX 530 chain
using a 35 hp shot of nitrous my bike dyno'd 169 rwhp and 93 rwtq (see reply to this post below for a pic of the dyno sheet). i have ridden this bike to a top speed of 175 mph on GPS (190 indicated) on the bottle sprayin 6th gear. with 16-40 gearing this bike will do 185 mph on GPS utilizing the nitrous in 6th gear. as far as 1/4 mile times go, the best i have run is low 10's @ 140+ mph sprayin 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear only. my 60 foot times suck because i weigh 220 lbs with gear on. but in the hands of a flyweight rider this bike will go high 9's no problem.

here is pic of my dyno sheet. note how the power curve shoots staight up when you spray the nitrous at 8,000 rpm's. 169 rwhp and 93 rwtq from 929 cc's. gotta luv it. the last pic is my timeslip. our race track in tucson, arizona resides at 3,100 feet above sea level. this time would correct to 9.99 @ 144 mph down at a sea level track

The act of riding is a form of meditation, because the concentration that's required to safely ride a motorcycle tends to focus the mind in a way that eliminates other mental distractions that might interfere with the mission. This creates a single-mindedness that, in effect, displaces the continuous stream of thoughts that normally flow through our consciousness.
