Rear stand question

Hey all,

I'm thinking about buying a rear stand for a buddy who has a 929. I was wondering which stands are recommended, and what price range to look at for a good one?

He said something about 929's having a weird setup on the swing arm, so I wasn't sure where to look, so I'm trying you all first

I bought a set of stands for my 929 through Handy Industries. $100.00 for both handyindustries.com

Most companies have either a 929 specific stand or some provision for adapting a stand for the 929. I have a pitbull and it works great. It is a little pricey, but if your buddy uses it alot, the quality is 1st rate.

www.vortexracing.com I love my vortex stand, it is just as sturdy as the PB and it is a lot cheaper, the handis get wobbly but if you are only using it for the occaisional oil change and chain lube than itll do you fine
