Default 929 Questions

So it looks like I'm going to pick up a 2001 929 this afternoon.

Two things.... first, can I put spools on the swingarm? Do I have to drill and use inserts? Where do I get them?

Second, what about frame sliders? Do I have to cut plastic? Where can I get them? How much should I expect to pay?

No need to cut the fairings to put frame sliders on, they will go right through the opening in the side of the fairing. I used intutive sliders, I don't recall the price anymore.
As for the swingarm spools, people have drilled and used inserts or welded them to the bottom of the swingarm. I just swapped a 954 swingarm (and other required hardware) in, comes with the inserts stock.
