just bought a 1998 cbr900rr!!!!!

Just got a red and black rr with 6012 miles. Does not run yet, replacing the petcock valve, battery, and cleaning the carbs and it should be good. Got it to start with fuel in the carbs and sounded good. Now all I want to do is git a 17 incher up front. Bike is in really good condition and I only paid 3,500.00.

yeah, its my fav old design too. L8 Breaker, your girl is hot, no offense. How is this bike for getting the front wheel up. My last two bikes were 2003 636 ninja (sold) and a 2003 cbr600rr (stolen) The ninja would easily, but not the Honda. thanks guys

Front will come up easy. You can power it up in first. Clutching in second brings it straight up and very easy to ride. I have only been riding 3-4 months and I can do it w/o a problem.

That is a great bike for the price you paid. As all the stunters will tell you, you bought one hell of a stunt bike!
