Default First Oil Change

Gotta say it isn't as hard as I thought it would have been. Most trouble was getting the bolt loose on the overflow tank.

I used Mobil 1 15W50 red cap for the oil, and a Fram PH6607 filter.

For those fixing to embark on this, one word of advice, get a filter wrench, I ended up using a hammer and screw driver to remove the filter.

oh man.. fram filters are shit.

Bosch, Purolator Pure One, are two of the best
I had a link to a site that did a thorough testing that verified this but I can't find it..

Next go round I'll most likely end up with a purolator filter, I ran one on my WRX and no problems what so ever. It won't take me long to rack up 3K miles ;)

From the sound of it,this is your first bike..............I may be wrong.

Be carefull on that thing.I really don't want to read about you going down.

Yes this is my first bike, but not new to riding. I use to ride a F3 a friend had.

I have always hear/read that Honda oil filters are the best for the bike, although they are more $.
