Default Crash cage installation?

I have an 04 600rr and I was hoping someone else has installed a crash cage. I need know how you made the holes in the side fairings and how hard they are to install?

motor mount to the hole in the frame above the rear set. which cage do you have?

the fairings shouldnt be in the way...jus mount it to the motor mount holes...
