Default Senior Citizen's 2006 600rr (a weapon)

I haven't been around these parts in quite a while. And when I was I was sporting my RC51.. Well, my RC51 fell victim to turn 1 at Summit Point main, while her little brother was getting race prepped..Little brother is out the box now and is the my main weapon.. She got 5 trackdays and 6 races under her belt..Oh, and by the way, she has a 65 year old nutcase pushing her too.

Mods to daggone long to list, ..

That's the way I look at it too..

And the great thing about it, I am getting faster!!!

Did my first ever trackday, last March 2005, when I was 64 years old. The bug bit me. So, I knocked out about 25 to 30 trackdays since then. Got moved up to intermediate in all three track orgs, and now one year later, I am sticking my foot into racing. Sheesh, this chit is fun.. the heart pump from racing is second to now. About 10 to 20 levels over trackdays!!

Just come to think of it, I don't ever wanna grow up either!!

Hey Howard, haven't seen you around these parts in quite some time. Sorry to hear about the RC but it looks like you've got a more than suitable replacement.

You start out motorcycling with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

Can't say it is a replacement for the RC51... The 600rr was in the works when I had my RC51. I just happened to crash the RC51 about a week before my 600rr was track ready.

Looking to replace the RC51 in the next couple months. Don't know what I am goning to replace it with, but it will be something that has the potential of being a good track/race bike.. Enter the GSX R750 or 1000.. Will see..

They youngsters have made the old man hard core.

How do you like the handling of the 600RR on the track? Were you satisfied with it on the street before any major mods?

Nice set up, looks sweet
