Default 600RR & 1000RR, can you tell the difference?

I was just wondering, if you took off all the stickers and decals, how can you distinguish between the 600RR & 1000RR. Are they exactly the same with out the paint/sticker schemes?

Thanks

most noticable difference would be the air ducts in the front fairing. There are other differences that aren't quite noticable like the side fairings etc...

The first thing I usually notice is the less revealing sides on the 1000...

The look alot different actually, unlike the 750 and 600 Gixxers which are virtually identical. I do find it interesting though that the 1000RR Race fairings still use airduct intake shape that started on the F3.

But back to the subject at hand, the only thing similiar on these 2 bikes is the front fender, seats and that they have undertail exhausts and dual headlights. All the plastics are different, the swingarms, exhaust cans, frame, and obviously the engine casings plus the 1000RR nose sticks out about 3 inches farther over the front wheel.

It is less defined now that the 600RR doesn't have the large black plastic parts where the intake ducts meet the fairing.

First thing I always notice between the two is the tail section is a lot wider on the 1000 then the 600...
