Default 600rr ?

I'm new here and read some where that the bike runs at 7500rpms at 80mph and was wondering if that is correct. Would it be fine on a 160 mile ride at 75-85 mph the whole way? Thanks

Well first off,welcome to SBN.

Secondly,( not trying to be rude here)you sound as if you don't know anything about bikes at all.The RR redlines at 15,500 rpm,so yes it will do just fine, all the way up to 162 mph.

Third,if I'm correct and you don't know any thing about bikes, please go to the SBN New Rider forum and read every thing in there.( it may save your life )

Foruth, this is not a good first bike.( it does NOT matter what some editor in a mag said )

Agin,welcome to SBN.

reread his question;)

He's asking if it is okay to ride a 160 MILE TRIP going 80 MPH if that range is at 7500 RPM..he's concern about keeping it at 7500 RPM for 2.5 hours

;)
