Default Frame Sliders

Hello all. Just purchased an 05 CBR600RR. What I am looking for is info on Frame Sliders. Now, I haven't looked closely at the frame or online info yet, but everything I get is that the frame sliders require cutting through the fairing. Is this true? If so, what is the best kit to buy (make and model of slider)? Do they include cutting templates, etc.? Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Scott

I installed the Sato sliders on my 03 600rr, and tested them in a 60mph lowside. The bike stayed on the pavement and slid 70 feet the satos did a good job for me. On the www.600rr.net site it seem that the Intuitive sliders are the favorite. As far as a templates, no you are on your own there. Don't worry about it do the play doe method (search the site). Just make sure you check the pilot hole with all the plastics on and bolted up.

Thank you. I appreciate it. Yeah, I had read about the playdough method. Makes sense.
