Default 600rr wheelies

I am sick of working on my bike, and don't have the money to buy a new one right now so I am doing the research part. I have read that this bike is harder to wheelie than other 600's, but usually does better on the track. I will not be doing track days... well at least not for a long while, but I will be riding fairly hard and want something I can stunt with a little.

Is it really a problem to pop a wheelie on a 600rr? I figured that all of the new 600's should power up fairly easy in the first 2 gears then sometimes 3rd.

I like the 600rr for some reason, but wanted the opinion of some of it's riders. I am also a little honda biased, I haven't had any problems with a honda regardless of age.
( please don't suggest f4i, I don't like the seat )

I love mine.

It will power up in 1st,2nd and 3rd but you have to have the revs up there pretty high.It does however, like to shake it's head when you come back down. It's a bit unnerving at first untill you realize that it will right itself pretty fast.

I have almost 24,000 miles on mine with no problems.

Not that it's heavy,it's just that the mass is centraly located. It was designed that way to try and keep the front end on the ground.

Both tires planted give you better traction comeing out of a corner.
