Bike in the Shop
Bought my bike new last October, and it has around 7.5k miles on it to date. I had read a lot about problems with the CCT so I thought this was my problem. I give the shop a few days, and call them. They say its the CCT, and should be ready in the next day or so, and they would call me. A week later I still haven't heard from them, so I decide to call them. I talk with the guy working on my bike, and he said he has replaced the CCT as well as performed a valve adjustment and still can't seem where the noise is coming from the engine.
Most CCT problems I have read about say the rattle is between a certain RPM set, but I get the rattle all the time. Luckly the bike is still under warranty, so Honda is paying for everything. I just thought I would ask what you guess think the problem is.
I have had it serviced every time it says to, +1. I don't ride it hard in the sense of burnouts, wheelies, etc. Just casual riding to and from. Oh yeah, its a '03 CBR 600F4i. Thanks.
