Default F2 & F3 Wheel?

I am wondering?

The 1991 to 1994 F2 front wheel has the speedo gear on it.

Is it possible to take it off and transfer some of the stuff to the 1995 to 1996 F3 wheel?

I dont like the conglomeration of crap on the front of the F2 wheel when you take all the disks off. But the F3 wheel look's clean without the disks on the front.

This is going on my custom chopper which will only have rear brakes. So the disks are not needed. However I do need the speedo......
