Default 1990 CBR600F Carb Success!!!!!!

Well it took 3 tries and I finally gave up on the original carbs! Today I picked up another set of carbs and after a super cleaning reinstalled them and WOW
this thing sounds great. NO Smoke---Choke works correctly----Idles smooth---and most of all revs up like a new one..
Some may ask what was wrong with the original carbs---I say who cares because the set I got cast me only 20 bucks and 3 hours time cleaning them.

Also another oil change was required due to the smell of gas in the oil....

So tomorrow it is off to the Honda Homecoming as planned.......
Hope to see some of you there.

If any one sees us Me(black zx11) and Son (1990 white CBR600) Please stop us and say HI.

I don't know much about carbs, but my doctor said to stay away from carbs, so I bought a fuel injected bike.

Default Carbs

Well I saw them on ebay with no bids locally so I called the guy and he let me pick them up for the 20.00 he had them posted for.
We did find out that the mains are too big so I will have to put smaller mains in it and that should do it.
Overall we rode 800 miles last weekend together and had a blast.
Thanks Ed
