Default F4 popularity?

So I see a ton of threads about the F4i, and also quite a few about the F3's and F2's...not too much about the good ole' F4. I know it was only made for 2 years, but It still kinda suprises me that I don't see more about it. I guess the F4i's carb'd brother dosen't get as much of the spotlight. Did it never really catch on? There really is no point to this thread, just babbling about my observations.

I'm quite sure the bike caught on(I see a bunch of them out on the road),but maybe noone has anything to say about them! Two of my friends have F4s and I rode them to compare to my 01 F4i. A real cush of a bike, more comfortable than my bike.
