Default Reserve, how to turn on and off...?

I have a F2. Theres a knob that you turn to use the reserve or not. Which way do I turn to not use the reserve and which way do I turn to use the reserve. Thanks.

Yep. Usually the paint on the arrows and words get worn off and makes it a little harder to tell which direction to turn the knob (that is if your bike had them painted).

Are you positive? Maybe I am not thinking right, but I thought that down was on and up was reserve. I am going to have to check when I get home now, I have the manual for a 1992 f2, so I will look at that. My brain is hurting now because I am thinking too much

Thanks for agreeing. I had to read what was posted before like 10 times becuase it just didn't make any sense. Then, I am here sitting at work, pretending to be on my bike and think which way I would turn it to reserve. I am still going to check when I get home just to confirm.
