Question Buying a bike - advice

I'm looking to buy a CBR600F2. I've got in the neighborhood of $2000 to spend. I wanted to find out from you all what I need to look for on this specific model. What are the common problems that come up with this bike? Are there any maintenance issues I should know about? How many miles can I expect out of the motor before it needs major attention? What's the valve adjustment interval? Can you do it without pulling the motor? Anything a soon to be F2 owner should know?

hondas, F2's can run forever if they have been taken care of and the regular maintence has been performed. I don't remember the valve adjustment intervals but you can do it w/o removing the motor. I've owned 2 and never had any problems with either one and put over 40k miles between the two.

Damned good bikes, watch the cct, just like all hondas, and the regulator/rectifier. otherwise it's a great bike.
