Default 96 cbr f3 wont start

hey my f3 had a problem wth the battery charging, i got a new battery, it worked for few days then wouldnt start again, so i think its the alt, weird thing is it has a new battery, even on a charger it wont start, lights wont come on or anything? could a bad alt do that? all the fuses are good, no loose wires as far as i can tell, and ideal on what it can be? also the best price ive seen so far for a new stator for the alt at bike bandit was about 380$ any ideal where i could get a better deal?

you can get better prices. check all your wires leading from the recitfer. which is probably what is wrong and not your alt. when the rectifer goes bad it likes to burn up wires. look for 3 yellows. the rectifer is teh same as on a f2,f3 and 900rr. its on the right side of the bike right by the spark unit box

The rectifier on mine was out when i got it and had partially melted the plug, a little wiring work and a new rectifier (off ebay) and i was off again.
