Default Couple of Questions about an 01 CBR F4i

Hey I am brandy new to the board. I dont own one but my friend does and I want to know some facts about this bike. He "CLAIMS" he has done 178mph. I cannot believe this for the life of me. What is the top speed of an 01? I think he needs to adjust his speedo by a long shot.

Also whats the stock hp?
Quarter Mile time?
Would it beat an r6?

Thanks alot for any help!

I don't know the top speed from experience.. but i know my speedo is off about 5mph at 80mph .. I've heard that the speedo will read 168mph or something but actual speed is only 154mph.. the quarter-mile on stock is 10.8sec and 0-60 in 2.8sec... not sure if it'll beat the R6.. i don't know the R6's specs.

Thanks alot for the info. My friend likes to stretch the truth sometimes. I would have him jump on here and join the forum and ask himself but he doesnt like the idea of joining a forum because he "doesnt want to be an internet nerd" haha!

Of the 01 sportbikes, given equal riders, the F4i was the slowest between Yamaha and Suzuki. That being said, it still won in a lot of shoot outs due to the overall capabilities of this bike.
