Default Speedo problem

When i first start the bike up and ride it the speedo will read 0mph until about 15 to 20 mins later, then it will start reading correct speed again. Also at night when i get off work the speedo reads 0mph and after about 5 mins of riding the FI light comes on. I then turn the bike off and start it back up and never get the FI light again. Any ideas guys?

Oh yeah forgot to mention i have a 2001 F4i.

under your seat there is a female plug end take a wire and loop it into each side you will get a series of flashes from your fi light write down the short long and whatever flashes and that reads a code then i think cbr.world forums or a friend from a dealer or friendly dealer can tell you what it reads
