Default Help with removing 08 1000 fairings

Hi,

Regarding the new 08 1000, has anyone tried to take off the fairings to install the frame sliders?

Any tricks, it seems like a real pain. My other honda's have been much easier, this one just won't come off.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Do what I do, and I'm sure a few other do, hit up your local Honda dealership and buy a service manual for about $50.00. It is worth it all the way. Everything you wanted to know and more about your bike is on those pages. I buy one with every new bike I buy.

Its a no-brainer investement, and you can give it to the owner of youre bike if you decided to sell it. Lets them know that you knew how to keep good care of your bike.
