Sportbike: too many to list but never enough.
I don't usually get excited about liter class sportbikes, but if this one has typical Honda reliability, I wouldn't mind getting one for myself..
Look awsome!!, I see design ques from Yamaha FZ-1, R1, Triumph 675, Ducati 1098, etc.. looks good to me.
I'm sure this thing will perform well but man I can't get past the styling. I hate it. I'm in the market for a bike and been looking at the 1K RR but not this one. I like the 07 much much better.
Damn Im Glad I bought an 07. I Dont like the looks at all
Its like they cramed all of the others into one bike, Nothing Original?
I was hopeing for something unique, Not same ole same ole?

If looks is all you care about, then I agree with you on keeping the 07. I've heard from the performance aspect of it, Kawi and Suzuki will be eating shit come next year's Superbike and World Superbike. The new 08 1000RR is supposed to be lighter than the 07 600RR which is the lightest of the 600 class. On top of which it's supposed to have almost 170 hp from the factory. So it'll be at the top of it's game with the weight to power ratio.
I agree with you on the cosmetics being ugly as sin on the new 1000RR, but the performance is far superior. I'll be looking to getting one when they're a couple years older so I can use for a track bike and get for much cheaper than retail.

Like the cluster. The rest is very chopped up, stylewise, and ugly to my eye (looks like Victory made it!); but I don't buy sport bikes based on styling.
I wish the manufacturers would all just integrate the lights and do away with these jokes of rear "fenders", though. Is it just accepted that everyone will add fender eliminators? Does anyone really ride around with that erector set crap hanging off the bike after they buy it? I thought the R6s were the worst, but this is right up there.
