Default How far after the light comes on?

I was just wondering how many miles you guys/gals have tried to get in between the fuel light coming on and having to stop and fuel up.

I would'nt hesitate to push it 30 miles past the light. After that I might really be pushing it! My range until the light comes on varies with the type of riding, as low as 104 in town to as high as 150 on the highway.

I haven't found out yet. I've made it as far as 127 miles before the light came on and put gas in a few miles later. I put in 3.4-3.5 gallons at that point. Basically I still have to figure it out.

I got 45 mpg the last time I went up throught the canyons. I got 20 after the warning light came on before I filled up. There was still a bit left in the tank... but why push it.

I filled up today with the light on and 172 miles on the odometer and still had 0.8 gal left in the tank. So mathematically I could have gone like 30 more miles?? I aint doin it. You do it.
