The two-year-old CBR1000RR introduced in 2004 gets some major changes for 2006 -- resulting in lower weight, increased horsepower and better handling according to Honda. There are many changes to the engine, including new porting, new combustion chamber shape, new intake cam and valves, new valve springs and a higher redline. Compression rises to 12.2:1 for 2006.
New chassis geometry, bigger brakes, new body work, and changes to the transmission and clutch are also included for the 2006 model year. Immediately below are Honda's published features and specifications for this new machine.

...is as flickable as the old 900 and has oooodles of power all through the rev range....bags of torque ...lovely motor ..extremely fucking quick if you want as well.
I am on the fence with that one...I would jump at it if it was 7k.

i believe 7800 is for retail. u are getting it from a private owner correct? if u are, try adding the retail and trade in value then divide by two, that is the mid blue book which is how much a private owner should charge. mid blue book should be around 6800. i got my black 04 1krr with 5k miles a couple of months ago for 7200 including some extras. good luck.
