Default upgrading from 05 r6 to 06 cbr1000rr

hey guys, i've been riding for a few years now, around 20k miles on a 600 cc bike...i'm pretty conservative rider, 205lbs, 5'9....get on the power, but never like to do tricks or stuff like that...i'm looking to upgrade to a 06cbr1000rr cause i want more low/mid range power...i'm tired of screaming my 600's...if i get this bike,,,is it constantly going to be up in the air? i'm wondering if this is something i can handle?!? i'm pretty mature with my previous bikes...but i will get on them on a straight away or sometimes in the turns...what do you guys think?? i've riding an 05 repsol...it seemed really manageable, i have an option to buy a leftover 05, but for a about 500 dollars more i can get the 06..

I think that you should just go for the 06 the only thing with the repsol is the color sceam they did not do any more modifcations to it. I had that debate myself I am just glad that 06 they brought back the all black.

$500 more for the 2006 model? Do it. It's described as a different machine entirely.

You definitely won't regret it. Literbikes are now so light, that the advantages a 600 possessed are now almost gone. So enjoy the extra power and torque.
