Default Exhaust valve removal

I am putting an exhaust sysyem on my 05 1000RR. What do I do with the exhaust valve cables? D&D dual black satin canisters and down pipe. Anyone running one of these?

remove them
I removed mine when i put my Jardine pipe on............ they just disconnect at the servo
