How easy would it be to sale? The reason i am asking is because there is a guy wanting to trade me one for my 98 LS1 z28 and a race engine. I wanted to see how I would be doing on the trade and how easy it would be to get rid of if I decided i didn't want it

That doesnt sound right to me, wouldnt a 1000rr be like 10k new... how much is your car worth?

First bike in a while....kind of wanting to get back in it. Well, the guy is telling me that it is worth 12000...the car KBBs 8700 plus the motor. He is talking about throwing in some cash. So is 10000 how much the Repsols are new? I was looking at getting into a 600 but rode my buddy's cbr1000rr the other day and loved it. So now I am thinking about going ahead and getting a 1000.

I think MSRP was a little under $12k. Be careful on that thing, it's not for novices.

Is there that much difference between it and a regular CBR1000RR? Another thought I had too was, since I was originally looking for a 600 I could trade this guy and then turn around and trade the Repsol for a 600 and some cash

I'm pretty sure the only difference is the bodywork.

I'd look for a good bit of cash if the bike was worth less than $12k brand new.

The only difference is a sticker kit and different color rims..

Ive got an '04 silver and black with lazer extreme exhausts,integrated taillight/turnsignals and lowered 1 inch.. It was bought new in dec of 04 so its still less than a year old, and im selling it for $8500 with (2) helmets.. Its has about 3400 miles....If that gives you any idea..
