Default Why so few of us?

The CBR1000RR is by far the best all around bike on I found for the money, yet there are so few of us. Just look at the posts. We need a movement.

don't know, but I see quite a few on the road. If you think it's slow in here look at the TX forum.

Seems to me to be a lot of them on the road, maybe they are all on the road and not the internet. "Living it instead of talking about it"
Which is where I need to be more......

I had a 954 and thought the same. Now that I have a 1000 I see 954's everywhere. Rarely do I see 1000rr's in Houston. Go figure

I think the concensus is that the 1000rr is a good bike, but heavier than necessary, so that hurts in sales. Especially as no one really uses liter bike performance on the street, if a bike is perceived as more nimble at street speeds due to its light weight everyone wants it.

That was exactly my thinking when I was considering which liter bike to get. Haven't decided yet but if the 06 1000rr is lighter than it'll be back in the running
