these are great bikes...but i really love grabbing a hand full of throttle...looking at 10500RPM and seeing the 06 GSX R1000 about 10 lengths back...its more fun every time i ride it...

Very very nice bike mate, but I don't quite understand why the US don't get the same spec bikes we get in the UK ...

I bought my 06 Fireblade a few months ago now (pics on previous page), and the UK 06 Blade has an all black swingarm, smaller 'grey smoked' indicators (you get the same indicators that were on my old 929), and we don't get those daft 'waste of space' reflectors on the side of the bike.

I've seen pics of the US '07' CBR1000RR (on here, in 'General') and it looks like you get 'next year' what we got 'this year' ... not that I'm complaining, but I'd have thought the North American market was the biggest, so why not give you the latest spec bikes ....

... as it is I seem to have bought an 06 Blade that's a US '07' spec bike.

..any way, nice bike mate, it fucking goes as well...lol .... pulls like a friggin' train...superb bike.

lol, sorry mate, it's probably my English sense of humour ... the shorts, nonchalantly looking away from the photographer whilst wearing shades and a Max Biaggi beard..

Sorry,I didn't understand what you were talking about...My mistake..
I will explain(not being a smartass)

1.) The shorts-Its hot and I dont wear pants often...The place I took the pic was by my house.I was not out riding in shorts..I ALLWAYS ride in halmet,jacket,boots....sometime not allways-gloves

2.) looking away-I dont like taking pictures,I went to turn my head when my son took the pic.I didn't want to take another one.

3.) shades-those are my glasses, they get dark in the sun.The brightness gives me a headache so I had the tint put on.

4.)the beard-haha you going to laugh !!!but I will tell you anyway..I don't have too much of a chin so I keep the beard to hide it....
