You start out motorcycling with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.
Some people are like slinkies; they're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
Picked up a new 04 model for $10,000. Price included a Micron can, a Zero Gravity double bubble shield, and the rear seat cowl all installed. The dealer also had the lower faring painted to match the rest of the bike. No charge for that. It looks like the red 05 model.

I got friggin hosed. Of course I was given the "pleasure" of buying from the newest (and closest at 2 miles) Honda dealership in the city and I wanted to contribute to the "plasma tv fund", cause if ya don't have 5 plasmas hanging, you're not very customer service oriented.
I paid $11,299 plus $350 setup, and tax on $3500 (trade was $8500)....Dont mind paying the little extra cause I wanted the customer service. What I DIDN'T know was that there is no customer service involved.
Heres what they DIDN'T get from me:
Since 04-03-05 (day I purchased bike) I've bought exactly $4060 in accessories (helmets, pipe, boots, etc.). I won't even take it there for my 600 mile service. I'm going to the Honda dealer 22 miles from my house. Looking at another bike and it won't be from this dealer.
Why do they always treat ya like its gonna be the last thing you ever buy?
Bought my 2004 silver/black in August 04 for $9300 OTD at www.abernathyonline.com a couple hours north of Memphis, TN
Was that including tax, title, and tags? I just went to their site, and $9300 is what they are asking before any of that. I know that tax alone in Tennessee is about $800 more dollars on $9300.
