I personally like the 1000rr better. They are both a blast to ride. To me the 954 feels much more wheelie prone despite having less power. for stunting this might be a good thing. The truth is that the bikes feel totally different from one another. The 954 feels like a new 900RR. the 1000rr feels bigger and heavier (in a good way) and longer. The 1000rr has incredible brakes for street riding, on the track they seem to fade quickly. The suspension works great on the street too, I am not so sure on the track - I still have the OE tires.
