Default Ticking or Clicking Sound

I just got back from the dealer about a ticking or clicking sound from the engine. It comes & goes, it's not consistent. I've never heard this sound before. The mechanic from the dealer said that it's normal, as the bike get's broken more, the valve gets more loose, specifically with this model. They even have a Honda technician come over, 'coz a lot of bike, same model as mine are in the shop, 'coz the owners are not convinced about the dealer's explanation. Have you had the same experience? Have you heard any ticking or clicking sound?

The ticking and clicking, I'm not worried about; its the consistent rattle at 5500rpm thru every gear that I'm worried about. Sounds exactly like when the cam chain tensioner went out in my F4i. I'm going to drop it off at the shop to have it checked out, but from prior experience, I'm almost certain that the CCT will need to be replaced.

My F4i did the same damn thing it was the CCT, it went through 3 before I traded it in with 6k on the clock. That sound is the CCT I'd bet money on it. I guess it's just a Honda thing. I was all set to buy a 1000rr next week but I don't think so now, that damn noise was just too much to listen to. That sound drove me crazy and all Honda would say is WHAT NOISE.....

Mine ticks when its hot around 3,000 rpm. sounds like one loose valve clearance. I guess they all do that. It comes and goes, but is most noticable right after a high speed run (when the oil is really thin?)

I have an 05 with 1100 miles on it and it ticks. Had Hondas all my life so I'm not worried. The CCT on the 1KRR and the 600RR were reengineered the CCT is a none issue on these bikes. It makes noise but nothing to worry about.
