How much do you think?
How much do you think should I ask for my bike? I'm thinking about selling it, 'coz I wanted to get the new 2005 model?
My bike is 2004 CBR1000RR. Got it last June, and has 437 miles on it.

why? there isnt any differences except paint.. you could always sell your fairings then buy the new ones. your bike as is is probably 8 something. yes that is low but that is the market for a bike like ours

I bought mine for $10000 cash, including the helmet. It will probably cost me $2000 for the new fairings, if I can sell mine for $7000-$8000 as what you've said, I will only lose $1500, so it's kinda break even, but, I have the new 2005 model

No, not really, it's just that, if I'm going to get the new farings of the repsol replica, the cost will be about the same with the lose if I'll sell the bike. But actually, I thought about it last night, and I just realized, that all the gears that I have, will not match with the new repsol replica. I think, I'm just going to get the lower fairing painted with red, the same color as the 05 model, and I'll save tons of $.

also think of it this way. if you drop the repsol verson it would cost alot more to get the fairings then it would for the non repsol verson

Good thinking. I will just have my lower fairings painted red.

Since when is riding a motorcycle also a fashion show? You know your gear doesn't HAVE to match the bike you ride. But as far as the bike goes, do what you want, if you lose a little money, big deal, it's part of the hobby.
