Ojai Ride! (prob last one of the season since it gets cold up there) Sun (10/25)

The weather is going to be getting colder up there in the coming months. It's still definitely nice for now so I'd like to get one last ride in before the bad weather sets in. It snows out at Frazier Park, so that cuts off the route in the snow season which is right around the corner.

- Lexicon Ave.

Notes:
- Ride ends at the 7-11 on Lexicon right next to the 210 fwy in Lake View Terrace.
- If you turn right on Foothill Blvd towards the fwy, go under the fwy, the closest gas station is an Arco on the corner of Foothill & Terra Bella St.
- Most of you have ridden with me, but I will make sure to put out there in advance that we WILL stop and wait for the other riders to catch up at EVERY turn. The only exception will be if there's a large enough group, we can split into two skill/pace levels and have two separate leaders and sweepers. That will be discussed the day of the ride when we see how many people actually show up. No sense wasting our breath debating it when we don't know who'll be there.

Pre-Ride Meet:
This meet-up is for most people coming up the 5 fwy or those that live in/around Santa Clarita. We'll ride across the 126 towards Santa Paula and possibly make a detour through the fun little roads out in the foothills.

Another bump!

Is this even in the right place?

I scoped out Pine Canyon and it's definitely too sandy to take a group through. We'll be using Lake Hughes which is a little further down the 5 fwy, but still a fun road that takes us to the same place.

Sounds like a fun ride. Been on the 33/Lockwood loop many times. Unfortunately, I'd be coming down from the SLO area and I "might" be out there so I'll keep a heads up if I see you guys out and about. Just gettin' over the flu, so don't know how I'll feel by Sunday. Good luck either way.

This ride was on Oct 25th.

But, we're riding again next Sunday 11/08 on the 39/Gmr/Grr/etc. Pm me if you're interested. I'll start another thread for it soon.
