Hey Iceman, when you finalize your kit would you mind posting a list of what's in it and about how much space it takes up (backpack size, tank-bag size, etc.)? I'm not CPR/Emergency first aid trained, but would like to have something to take on longer rides "just in case". Thanks.

There's a saying that goes people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. OK, how about nobody should throw stones. That's just crappy behavior. My policy is: No stone throwing, regardless of housing situation.

If everybody knows how it's gonna end, why doesn't some one stop me?
The signal illustrations are from the Motorcycle Safety Foundations hand book.
I took the course up in Atwater, Ca.( the old Castle Air Force Base, B-52's and KC-135's) back in August of this year. Yeah, I'm a newbie. (2004 FZ6)
The medical thing is a great idea and I have also implemented it with my group. We got a few paramedics and I am also certified for that stuff. It came in handy 3 weeks ago when 1 guy went down and some of the less informed tried to remove his helmet and other stuff. I did what I had to and thank goodness because the guy ended up having some major injuries like a bruised lung that was accumulating fluid and 6 fractured ribs.
We are asking for people to carry a basic med kit and taking roll of who has some basic training.
We have a group truck and it's available at all times for members. Too bad it gets more use than we would like in the canyons. It was more meant for track days.
