And I deserved it for riding into the worst place in the world knowing I was going to get pulled over for SOMETHING. Damn westlake hills cops ARG! And I techincally ran from them yesterday. Had one stop and flip his lights going the opposite way and I took the first right home. DAMNIT SH%$^$^$%^F$^%$CK I hate myself
I got pulled over about 1-2 weeks ago and got a warning for no plate light, speeding [70 in 55] and a ticket for no inspection sticker. I was out in the middle of no where with no street lights anywhere, so that was obvious.
And so just now got another inspection ticket. Didnt get anything else.
The question here is, will one of the tickets get dissmissed? Will I have to go to both court hearings? Im not sure but I think the hearing date on the ticket I got now is sooner than the other one I got 1 week ago. How much will I generally be paying for all of this?
Im assuming that since its only an inspection ticket that I wont get my license taken away or pay some huge fee or other crazy things like that? I got a yellow waver with
"section 601.233 (a), TC. amended
DL suspension for second conviction for failture to maintain financial responsibility"
And he asked where I worked so I guess my license is getting suspended and Im fucked? yay...why oh why did I go through WLH
I am not sure what kind of inspection your refering to but I am assuming it is vehicle emissions or equipment.
From what I am seeing your inspection tickets have nothing to do with your license suspension. You will have to go to court for both tickets or pay them, at least in MD you would since it was 2 different officers issueing tickets.
Now for the suspension it seems like the MVA does not have proof of current insurance and that is why they are suspending you. All you need to do is take your CURRENT insurance card to the MVA and they SHOULD lift the suspension if it is for insurance.
I am not sure of TX laws, so probably the best thing you can do is contact MVA to find out how to lift the suspension.

Yea, It says below it in the yellow waver if I fail to appear or pay I can have it suspended. Wasnt sure how to take the waver since I got pulled over in a bad spot. Didnt know If its an automatic DL suspension or a possibility.
Get your bike inspected, is it more expensive than 2 tickets and/or a court date?
Also, I wouldn't mention anything about "running" from the cops here.
Kinda the thing you keep to yourself, if you know what I mean.
One mans opinion.

I didnt really "run". Just turned the corner that was 50 ft infront of me and did the speed limit the whole time before and after. Hell I didnt even really think they flipped the lights for me at first, but I didnt feel like sitting there and finding out. If they had turned down the street that I went on I would have stopped.

In TX, an inspection ticket is more like a "fix-it" ticket. You have 10 days to take care of it and pay $10 court fee. After that date, it becomes a $175 ticket. If you get stopped again within 10 days of the first ticket, you can show that to the LEO and he won't write you another.
Hmmmm. My first one was on the 2nd. Today is the 12th....10 days after. So il have to pay the fee on the ticket for the first, but the one I got today will be dismissed?
First of all, I have no idea about TX and it's laws.
Anytime I have a question here, I just stop by our village cops and have them look it over, and ask a few question. My plate is hidden behind my rear tire, but law say "Viewable from the rear". I had the cops look at the placement and he said it could be better, but legal.
Probably doesn't help for this question, but you should stop in and see if they can/will help you out (unless you have warrents).
